Overview
MDMS is the only equipment DMS in Australia with a dedicated build order module, purpose-built for the work that happens between receiving a unit and delivering it. Each build tracks its own tasks, parts and labour, and every order is auto-numbered in the BO-YYYY-NNNNN format for clean referencing.
A build order can spawn from a sales order or be entered manually, then your team receives parts, logs labour and completes tasks as the work progresses. A PO gate blocks commissioning until the required purchase orders are in place, so units are never released prematurely. The final sign-off checklist captures the hour-meter reading and confirms the unit has passed commissioning before it is released for delivery.
