This is the MDMS guide library. Each guide is a focused, hands-on walkthrough of a specific job — written for the people who actually do it: dealer principals, workshop and parts managers, salespeople and finance teams. Rather than skim the surface, every guide takes one task and works it through from start to finish so you can follow along inside your own MDMS account.

MDMS brings the whole dealership onto one platform: CRM, sales and CPQ quoting, equipment and serial inventory, build orders and commissioning, workshop service and work orders, an offline field-service PWA, parts and warehouse, rental contracts, and finance and invoicing with Xero sync. The guides below show how those pieces fit together for the moments that matter most — moving onto MDMS in the first place, and standardising new-unit pre-delivery so every machine reaches the customer the same way.

You do not need to read them in order. If you are evaluating a switch from an existing system, start with the migration guide to understand how your customer, equipment, parts, work-order, rental and finance data is extracted, mapped and validated before cutover. If you are already on MDMS and want tighter control of the workshop, the build orders guide shows how to turn pre-delivery into a repeatable, auditable process. We add guides over time as dealerships ask for walkthroughs of the workflows they run most, so it is worth checking back.
